Appointments and diagnosis

Do I need an appointment?

Yes. Call before travelling to the Small Heath workshop.

Is diagnosis free?

General fault diagnosis is free even if you decide not to proceed. Specialist data-recovery assessment or recovery can have separate charges.

Do you offer call-outs?

Yes, across Birmingham where suitable. The charge depends on postcode and travel distance and is confirmed before booking.

How long do repairs take?

One to three working days is typical. Same-day work may be available for selected faults when parts and workload allow.

Charges and approval

What does No Fix, No Fee cover?

It applies to repair labour. Call-out charges remain payable, and approved or specially ordered parts may also be payable.

Will work start before I receive a quote?

No chargeable repair should begin until the proposed work and price have been approved.

Can specialist data recovery be charged separately?

Yes. Assessment, donor parts, clean-room or specialist recovery work can have separate charges explained in advance.

Repairs and warranty

Do you repair gaming PCs?

Yes, including crashes, overheating, poor performance, no display and failed upgrades.

Do you repair MacBooks and iMacs?

Yes, as an independent repair business. PC Repair Guru does not claim Apple authorisation.

What warranty applies?

Repair workmanship is covered for 30 days. Part warranty depends on the relevant part and supplier or manufacturer.

Do you repair consoles?

PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and other consoles can be assessed, subject to diagnosis and parts availability.
